Parent Permission...Unique Gurl Voices

Your child has applied to participate in an 8-week online educational course hosted by Julie’s Haven. The objective is to empower high school girls (Grades 10-12) to develop awareness campaigns regarding Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), Child Sex Trafficking (CST), and Sextortion.

Dates: Saturdays, February 28 – May 2, 2026 (No Sessions due to Spring Break: March 21 and April 11, 2026)
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST
Location: Online (Zoom)
Cost: Free Upon Acceptance
College Prep: All participants who complete the 8-week course receive a formal Letter of Participation detailing the skills learned (advocacy, marketing, project management), suitable for college applications.
Scholarship: Exclusive eligibility to apply for a Unique Gurl Scholarship (awarded in July to seniors).
Community: Membership in a network of like-minded young women striving for social change.

Content Awareness: I understand the sensitive nature of the topics (CSA, CST, Sextortion) and consent to my child participating in these educational discussions.

Attendance: I have reviewed the schedule with my child, and to the best of my knowledge, they are available to attend the Saturday sessions.

Interview: I consent to my child participating in a phone interview with a Julie’s Haven representative as part of the application process.

I understand that the Unique Gurl Voice Awareness Project involves, educational discussionsregarding sexual abuse, grooming tactics, human trafficking, and online coercion. While the focus is on prevention, advocacy, and empowerment, the subject matter is mature.

I undertsand that Julie's Haven does not offer counseling, advice, therapy or conduct psycological exams.

I understand that Julie's Haven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and not affiliated with any educational institute.

I understand that the Unique Gurl Voice Project will be faciliated by a certified educator.
